These are impact drivers, not impact guns/wrenches. These are the type that most folks would consider at home on a construction site, home DIYers toolbox, and the like. But this new DeWalt might change the way you think about cordless impact drivers. I can tell you that I used one in the shop a lot, and not just for the construction we’ve been doing. I use them to install and remove bolts a lot, as they are fast, powerful enough to drive the bolt or nut home so you can really tighten it with a hand tool, and they just save time and energy. But nobody looks at them the same as an impact gun or impact wrench, like you would use to remove lug nuts, a crank bolt, flexplate, etc.
But maybe you should!
This one isn’t cheap, but it is pretty cool! Check out the latest video from our friends at the Torque Test Channel.

Our lifetime worth of TOOL RANKINGS https://torquetestchannel.etsy.com/li… Can DeWALT’s new hydraulic impact driver DCF870B make a dent in the market by offering more performance? Peak torque might but a smaller piece of the pie than normal for these tools, so we try to take a more comprehensive look at where it sits vs mainstays like the Milwaukee M18 Surge 2760, and recommend taking a look at other sources that uses these tools day in and out for their thoughts as well.
