If you want to build a bitchin set of bead rolled door panels for yourself, then you should totally take a look at this video. It inspires me to get a bead roller and start making cool stuff, because this kind of metal shaping is ultra cool. To be able to make a polished panel look like something upholstered is truly amazing and Karl is really good at showing us all how to do it. I’m not saying that one watch of this video will have us all making our own just like these, but you gotta start somewhere right?
These door panels happen to be for the 1931 Ford Model A Roadster that Karl has been working on in the background at JapHands Kustoms, but the same methods would work for a lot of different vehicle door panels.
