Can a Fox Body Mustang street car, with a 5.3, run 7’s in the quarter? Dave has been chipping away at it and with a couple of 8.0s in his pocket he’s trying to crack the 7 second barrier in the video below. Dave is as hardcore as they come, with a racer’s mentality, but knows that when pushing one of these little 5.3’s to the limit a tenth can be hard to come by. Will they make it happen?

The last time out we came together in hopes of getting that 7 second quarter mile time slip and that infamous 4 second 8th mile time. We came within inches at that time 8.05/5.0xx and then life got busy.
