When I hear the term Street Freak, I think of the 1970’s gasser style rides that came out of Southern California’s Van Nuys Blvd cruising scene. These cars were, in some ways, inspired by the 1960’s gassers that became so popular on dragstrips around the country but were driven on the street, featured wide front tires and in most cases and even taller stance. This video here is featuring a bunch of gassers, like the ones that are the stars of the Southeast Gassers Association and more. We love this style of racing, and while I don’t have a gasser in the fleet I’d sure love to!
