When Shaine Rieley sent us the link to this video of him and some friends tearing it up in lifted Jeeps, we couldn’t believe our eyes. These guys are absolutely hammering on these rigs and the result is copious amounts of tire smoke, a few rev limiter tests, and a whole lot of fun. To us the CJ is most impressive, because the look and all gives no clue to the potential this thing has. And whatever small block is shoved under the hood, that little bastard likes to wind out like nobody’s business.
I’m not sure where the video was shot, but if I didn’t know better I would say that these guys must be Australian, or have gone to the Aussie School of Power Skids, because there is some skill going on here for sure.

I’m glad that you guys liked the video. We actually aren’t Australian….We live in Holland, Michigan. All of these Jeeps have SBC power except for the first one. At the time of this video (10 years ago) He was running a tall deck 427. As of todays date most (if not all) of these Jeeps are powered by Chevy LS engines.

Rumor has it these guys may have another Topless Jeep cruise in the future. I see potential for the best episode of Road Kill ever if Finnegan and Freiburger built an LS powered Jeep and headed out for this event!
