Growing up in an auto mechanic family, I remember a borescope, or inspection camera, being a very high dollar piece of equipment. Over the years they got better and better, but the prices still weren’t cheap, until the last 10 years. Sure, you can spend whatever money you want now, but the options that are available make it so you can have a nice working inspection camera in your toolbox regardless of your budget. I know that in my toolbox I have a Depstech camera that works with an app through my iPhone and it works great. I have had it for nearly 10 years, and it works like a champ and cost me $30 or something like that. Now they have similar models, along with much fancier ones as well.
In the video below from our friends at Project Farm, you’ll see a bunch of inspection cameras being tested and put through their paces.
Video Description:
VEVOR, Milwaukee, DXZtoz, Teslong, DEPSTECH, Hilycen, Camii, Hopefox, Kleint Tools, Acoath, Bluefire, and BOPOPO. All of the inspection cameras compared for performance at range of distance for clear visual imagery, management of light reflection when viewing shiny objects, sharpness of display and video footage, and the ability to extract piece of metal from inside of an engine using a magnet.
I purchased all of the inspection cameras to ensure an unbiased review. So, thank you for supporting the channel!
