Since it has started snowing around parts of the US already and there’s some sort of massive winter air blast coming for lots of us soon I thought it would be appropriate to bust this video out today. It was made last year around Christmas time in Sweden, hence the outfits but pay no attention to that. What you need to concentrate on is the T-bucket riding around on tracks and skis and powered by a supercharged alcohol burning big block Chevy. If you think it sounds really stout, that’s because it is. These are the Lindberg boys and if you follow the NHRA’s alcohol classes you already know who they are. Jonnie Lindberg and crew commute from Sweden several times a year to compete on the NHRA circuit and their car is certified bad ass. We’d argue that this one is cooler on freak value alone but the point is that these guys absolutely know how to built big horsepower especially when superchargers and alcohol are involved.
You have likely seen still photos of this car because they have ben around the internet for years but as best we know, this is the only video of it being used and as you can imagine, the guys (Jonnie behind the wheel) have a ball and get after it a little in the process. Sideways and slinging snow and ice in big volumes, this looks like the most fun someone could have with their clothing installed. Is this the coolest winter hot rod of all time?
