EBAY FIND: A TOTALLY BITCHIN 1932 FORD VICKY GASSER THAT WAS MOTHBALLED FOR 40 YEARS!

EBAY FIND: A TOTALLY BITCHIN 1932 FORD VICKY GASSER THAT WAS MOTHBALLED FOR 40 YEARS!

Holy bitchin’ eBay find! This legit 1960s gasser was raced in the southwestern US in the 1960s and 1970s and then stuck in a barn for more than four decades before seeing the light of day again. It is unrestored and in our opinion, totally freaking perfect. This is 1960s grassroots drag racing perfection. Hell, the interior is still untouched from the car’s days of glory.

Yes, this car will handle like a badly aligned shopping cart, and yes, there appears to be about enough room inside of it to fit one man and a small trained bear, but anyone who buys this car for ergonomic reasons or for purposes other than hauling ass straight ahead is an idiot. The suspension is gasser style perfection with the beam axle up front, a Ford 9-inch out back and a pair of ladder bars large enough to be used as bridge girders. The transmission is a 4-speed stick box as the drag racing gods would want.

The only unoriginal piece involved here is the motor. According to the seller, the car came without one, but after a consult with the original owner, he installed a 327 Chevy into it as that is what powered the car during the era that it was raced. The shop stuck six carbs on top and uglied up the outside of the engine to have it match the barn find look of the exterior.

We sincerely hope that anyone who buys this thing drops the hammer on the strip a couple times. It isn’t going to break any records, but it needs to have at least one more trophy run before living as a street beast for the rest of time.

What a car!
