Freiburger Is Back With A Bolt-On Suspension Kit For Hot Rod Garage’s Mustang…And You’ve Got To See This Episode’s Q&A Session!

We’re really digging what Freiburger and crew are doing to the black 2005 Ford Mustang GT on Hot Rod Garage, which is pretty much what we’re doing to our Chrysler 300C. Hmm…maybe once we catch up on mods we should challenge them to something. Maybe how to autocross with groceries or something, who knows. Anyways, DF is back and this time he’s putting in an entire Ford Racing suspension kit under the Mustang. Instead of just slamming the car using lower springs, this is a complete setup with struts, springs, shocks, sway bars, a Panhard bar for the rear axle, and more. It might not give the Mustang a slammed look, but does it help with the handling?

“Big deal”, you might be muttering. Ok, wise guy, I’ll sweeten the deal. Finnegan and Freiburger have started teasing what’s happening on Roadkill via the question and answer sessions. I’m not going to give away what they are doing, except to say that there had to be somebody from FCA standing somewhat nearby slamming Pepto-Bismol like it was cheap beer. Freiburger’s response to the torque wrench comments was great. And yeah, if I’m ever looking at buying a Hellcat and I find one for super cheap with dirt crammed into every nook and cranny of the interior, I’ll know to stay away from it. Or buy it and bring it to Power Tour and make them sign the dashboard

Although the ford racing stuff is not terrible, you can do better for less.

I’m running their k-springs with the orange konis, max Motorsports cc plates, and then Bmr control arms out back with their pan hard bar. Sway bars are still stock, I just don’t see the need to replace them.

But I do agree the falken tires are great.
