We’re back with more great action and pit photos from the Hotchkis Autocross that was run as part of the NMCA West drag races at Fontana, California last weekend. Like we mentioned yesterday, the addition of this event to the already rocking NMCA lineup is a great way to expose people to a couple different brands of hot rodding in the same place. Any time you can get car people together and allow them to show off their own skills, iron, and ability while also giving them the chance to learn about someone else’s, the whole hobby wins.
The cars (and trucks!) you will see in this collection of photos span the years and span the technology scale from the amazingly capable late model machines as in the Mustang below to the old school, hot rodded handling machines like our buddy Wes’s truck above. Is one better than the other? Not in our eyes! As long as people are our using their stuff and driving it in anger, we don’t care if you are a late model guy who just wants to hit the key and drive or an old school hot rodder who is constantly taking their stuff apart to make it “better”.
The Hotchkis Autocross will appear as part of NMCA West events at Fontana this year as well as at events around the country. Stay tuned for more coverage from under the SoCal sun!
Hi Brian,
I am personally a big fan of Autocross. Thanks a lot for sharing the pics with us.
While Wes’s truck is pretty bada** Its the only one?… Going to have to fix that next time they come to Fontana. Autocrossing a truck is a blast!
