Brent Hajek is a lot of things. He’s a farmer, a lover of all things Ford, the operator of a museum dedicated to race cars, a race team owner, major league car collector, and most of all, a good old boy who likes to mix it up on the race track.
His name has come up around this blog recently and we thought that a few of you may be wondering exactly who he is.
His name is familiar to anyone that loves Ford drag racing history as he owns a ton of historic Ford quarter-mile iron along with lots of stock cars and other pieces of automotive history. Recently he purchased a large block of the new Cobra Jet Mustangs and has been running them around the country with various pilots in the drivers’ seats. He owns the car that Jon Calvert drove to the Stock Eliminator win at Pomona this year, a historic victory as it was done 41 years after Al Joniec turned the same trick in a new Cobra Jet Mustang in 1968.
