If you combined an alcohol dragster, a monster truck, and a lunatic you would get Dennis Anderson and his insane King Sling mud truck. Rolling on massive tractor tires and powered by a motor that has to be making 2,000+ hp, it is a four wheel drive beast designed to skim over, sky over, and drive over anything stupid enough to come into its path. We’ve seen lots of video of the truck doing just that at Anderson’s own off road motorsports park and at other places. Recently, Anderson was hosting an event at his “Muddy Motorsports Park” in the Carolinas and he got ready to blast the mud pit and obstacle course. Then he hit the gas.
As you will see, the truck immediately launches into a power wheelie and in typical Dennis Anderson fashion, he drives the thing like his foot is tig welded to the floor. For whatever reason he keeps all the way into it and the truck literally drives itself over backwards. The engine is in the rear of the truck so once it gets to a certain point, physics take over and there’s no way it can come down on the tires again.
The in car footage is totally great and it is played at full speed and instant replay. The creepy thing is watching the mud and water rush into the truck. Anderson is OK so he obviously escaped before having any issues with being submerged.
