Report: NHRA To Sanction Tracks Worldwide

Respected drag racing journalist Rob Geiger is reporting that the NHRA will be sanctioning drag strips in the Middle East in the neat future. This is huge news in the sense that the organization will be putting its seal of approval on tracks outside of the North American continent.

What becomes very interesting is the fact that the ADRL, currently the only American-based drag racing organization to have races in the Middle East, is set to kick off the Arabian Drag Racing League’s season next week. It has been rumored that the ADRL was getting ready to go into the sanctioning body business, and we thought that their stamp would be on a couple of these tracks, but it seems the NHRA has or will shortly, beat them to the punch.

We’ll follow this story and keep you updated with any breaking details!
