There are few more intense race cars than 410 Sprints. These direct-drive, methanol-powered, 800hp, 1,300-pound monsters are the greatest show on dirt. They slide sideways around the tight corners of short dirt tracks all over the country, and when the bite is good, accelerate so hard that they can pull the front tires off the ground heading down the straights.
With all that good comes some bad. First off, real estate is at a premium. The small tracks mean that fields are nearly always in traffic and the fact that they are open-wheeled race cars means that contact with another competitor usually results in instant and massive carnage.
