We found this kick ass 1949 Willy Overland station wagon listed down in Ft. Worth, Texas. It is a two-door wagon that, according to the seller, is a one owner vehicle. From the pictures attached to the ad, this wagon is in awesome shape, and with a little elbow grease, some paint, and maybe a tune up, this baby would be back on the road!
The original engine is in the advertised wagon and it should be the 90hp Go-Devil flattie four. This thing would not win a drag race against a rickshaw but it would be a fun way to (slowly) haul the family around.
If we had our way, we’d get the ‘banger running, bleed the brakes, and roll it just as it sits.
