Few men in NASCAR history drove harder or lived faster than Curtis Turner. He was one of the sport’s first bonafide legends and because of that he was used as a pitch man. In this video he’s stiffly reading a script promoting the benefits of racing Ford cars and how that experience makes road cars better. It’s great video with Ozzie and Harriet music and footage of vintage stock cars hauling tail.  

Make sure to watch the whole thing because there’s some great unintentional humor at the end when the narrator talks about the benefits of “improved carburation” while a dual-quad 427 is being shown.
