We’ve showed you video of Dan Mundy’s insane Chevy truck before but here’s some new footage of “Air Mundy” getting it done and in fine fashion. The truck was out tearing up the Earth at the West Georgia Mud Park recently (we need a mud park near BS eastern HQ!) and really did some spectacular stuff on a new “dam jump” that the mud park staff built.
What is a dam jump? Well, we’re not 100% sure but if we’re going on a pretty literal basis, a dam jump is a near vertical wall a truck speeds up and is then launched into a retaining pond of water, muck, and goo that would swallow a normal man and his truck. Luckily, Mundy and his truck are nothing close to normal, so after a hella impressive jump and ultra hard landing in the goop, Mundy is right back on the loud pedal and the truck claws its way out to shore. The fact that the truck survived the jump is one thing but the fact that he was able to hammer on the throttle and actually drive out the pit is freakin’ awesome.
Mundy built this truck himself, including the frame and suspension. They both hold up perfectly though all this madness!

It landed so hard, it knocked the right headlight out of it!
