Don’t ask us how, but we stumbled upon a move blog that spilled some beans on next year’s Fast and Furious 5. The old gang is all back with Vin Diesel, the rest of the original crew, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson joining in the fun. The best part of the blog is the fact that the writer is bemoaning the authenticity of a scene where cars tow a bank vault down the street.

This guy must have missed the first four installments with the infamous Charger wheelie, the F-Bomb’s dirt wheelie, and the half million other completely fako car stunts and effects. Dragging a bank vault down the street may be the most realistic thing that has ever happened in the entirety of the series, for cripes sake. 

He’s not totally unreasonable, though. If the bank vault were being dragged by, “two suped (sic) up 4×4 trucks or even a big ass semi with all sorts of cool decals, lights and flames on it that is one thing…” he’d apparently be into it.  

We were thinking of writing him to say that the end of Free Willy when the whale jumps about 300 feet into the air, was also not exactly documentary film making, but we’d hate to burst that bubble.

Hey, wait a second. Are we defending the Fast and the Furious movies?
