RacingJunk Find: A Race Ready LSR 1977 Corvette

With Chad being stationed on the salt all week providing updates and information Speed Week that you’re literally not going to get anywhere else, we’ve totally gone nuts scheming on LSR racing combos to attack Bonneville and other venues with. We found a ‘Vette that couldn’t be recreated for the selling price, especially because it comes with a trailer.

This car fits into the A/GMS class with an (GMS= Gas Modified Sports) (A= an engine under 500ci) interesting nose that encloses the front tires and appears to clean up the airflow over the front of the car. The engine is a full boogie 497ci BBC with Enderle fuel injection and Brodix heads with Jesel valve train pieces. If you are doing math in your head, that $28K selling price is looking better and better.

The whole operation is part of the sale, right down to the fire suit and helmet. Buy the car and start on your licensing process so you can hit the salt in 2011!
