Maybe Santa was good to you this year or you have tucked some cash aside and are ready to make an investment. Maybe you are mentally ill and deranged and just want to own a race track so bad you can’t help yourself. Maybe, maybe we’re out of ideas but the point is that there’s a really nice little race track for sale in Missouri that could be yours for less than the price of a big house in many areas of the country.
Montgomery Motorsports Park which is confusingly located in New Florence, Missouri is a high banked 3/8th of a mile dirt track that is as neat as a pin and seems like a perfect way for someone to break into the realm of race track ownership. It is a hard business for sure but if you are starting with a place that has the bones of this facility, you’re way ahead of most everyone else right off the bat.
The seller claims a seating capacity of 3,500 people, pit space for 200 race cars, and every piece of equipment on the grounds is included within the sale for $475,000. Nearly half a million bucks is a big chunk of change no doubt but it seems workable in a place like this where the building blocks are in place to provide a clean, welcoming, and fun place for spectators and a nice racing surface for the competitors.
We were most impressed with the photos showing the innards of the concession stand. It is surgical in its cleanliness and that’s impressive for any racing venue. Like the old saying goes, you never want to see “how the sausage is made” when ordering race track food but this may be an exception for sure.

it is a really nice facility and clean and a really good location. ive been to sprint car races there and its a great track.
and really the money is decent.
i really hope it get sold as it might help spyr investors in the drag strip that they are trying to build down there.
FYI: New Florence is in Montgomery County, hence the name.
