This Seven-Year-Old Can Wheel A Turbocharged RZR Up A Slick Hillclimb Just Fine!

I watch the rock bouncers and hill climbers with admiration. To some, it might appear that the only reason these guys go out and hit some of the most wicked locations in the country is simply to break stuff and nothing more. That’s like saying that the only reason I go to the dragstrip is to burn another hundred dollars’ worth of rubber off of my tires – it’s complete BS. The drivers and whoever engineered the cages on these vehicles are pushing the limits of what four wheels and an engine can tolerate, and making sure that if something goes wrong and the rig turns turtle, that they can walk away from the crash.

It’s one thing to watch some guy fling a buggy up a hill. But to watch seven-year-old Cash LeCroy climb Tub Rock in Alabama in a RZR buggy is something else. Full-size bouncers have issues taking on the slick surfaces and ridges and any loss in forward momentum results in the same thing: tires spinning on the rock. Add to that, it looks like Cash is driving up it after rains fell…the tires spin on the surface as if he was driving on ice! But the little man pulls through just fine with a bit of coaching, looking like a pro.

I wish my parents had loved me enough to buy me a $50,000 4×4 to bash… all I had was a stupid mini bike (Honda 50).

McSquatch – since you’re at ground zero for hill climbing, rock bouncing and such, are you going to join in the fun?
