(Photos by Bob Chiluk) – For several seasons now, the Ultimate Street Car Association has been bringing its brand of pro touring competition to the beautiful facility known simply as Road America. Located in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin it looks like a race track set into a national park. The course itself is long and difficult but the thrills and experience that it provides racers will continue to make it a bucket list location for everyone who has every turned a steering wheel in any sort of anger. The good news is that in the USCA series there are LOTS of those people and they are competing in as wide an array of vehicles as you could possibly imagine. From backyard builds to the outrageously awesome cars of guys like Kyle Tucker, there’s a space and a place for everyone as you will see.
Our own Bob Chiluk hit the USCA Road America event with his automated picture making machine and filed a great dispatch of images from the race. We think you will dig them because there are the typical things you’d expect to see along with some really nice surprises in here. It ain’t all Camaros, folks!
If you are a pro touring enthusiast than you owe it to yourself to get to a USCA event. You’ve likely seen Chad hosting their TV show and if so you know that they strive to give people tons of track time and make you a better driver in the process. This event happened a few weeks back but the photos will be cool for a century to come. It is pretty amazing to see the evolution of the pro touring world over the last decade or more and these guys and girls are at the top of the food chain!
