(Photos by Cole Reynolds) The third race of the NMCA West series at Auto Club Dragway in Fontana was action packed, with lots of cars on the property. In addition to the drag racing action, there is also Autocross competition going on at each event so this facility was jam packed with cars, trucks, and people. Cole ran around shooting photos of all the action, and here is the first set of Drag Racing photos for you to check out.
Wheels up classes of all kinds can be found at an NMCA West event, with everything from Brackets to Power Adder Drag Radial classes represented, and everything in between. And the facility at Fontana’s Auto Club Dragway is great. Nice, clean, all asphalt pits, easy access, and a race track that is literally right in the middle of town, make this a great place to race. Need a part? Kids need some chicken nuggets? It’s all right outside the gate here at Fontana and that makes for a very convenient and fun race experience. Tracy Fischle, and the rest of the crew from Auto Club Dragway, do a great job and make sure that everyone has a good time. It is not uncommon to see a lot of laughing and joking and fun going on in the staging lanes here.
