Off-Road Expo 2016 Had All The Big Tire Goodness You Expect!

Off-Road Expo 2016 Had All The Big Tire Goodness You Expect!

I’m a big fan of off-road trucks, Jeeps, and anything that plays in the dirt. I have a hard core soft spot for desert and short course style rigs, but you just can’t help but love crawlers, King of the Hammers rigs, and anything Ultra 4 related. And if they weren’t so stupid expensive I’d love to have a side by side UTV as well. All of this is why the Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo 2016 is dangerous for me. Sad actually. Dangerous would be if I had any hint of being able to afford to buy all the cool stuff I want. Sad because I can’t afford any of it right now, despite some insane show deals that had me drooling.

This show is all about showing off cool trucks, buggies, and Jeeps while also checking out the latest and greatest that the off-road aftermarket has to offer. There are a LOT of cool parts here. Stuff that you may not even realize you need in some cases, and things you didn’t know were even available in others. Of course there are a jillion options for suspension systems for every platform, fabrication tools and parts from guys like TMR Customsand performance parts from Aeromotive, Edelbrock, Russell, Holley, MSD, Racepak, Jiffy-tite, Moroso, ANZO USA and many more.

My favorite thing to do though is to drool over trucks both inside and outside the buildings at the Fairplex in Pomona. Looking at all the work and fabrication that has gone into each one gives me ideas, inspires me, and makes me want to break out the welder and go whole hog on the Suburban with a rack/exocage, bumpers, and much more. You can’t help but want to do everything you can after checking out all the inspiring rigs at the Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo.

Here is our first gallery, we’ll have more coming all week.

Very good blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely confused .. Any suggestions? Appreciate it!
