We have seen some stuff when it comes to the Formula Off-Road over the years here at BangShift. From incredible highlights to wreckage that makes the hair on the back of your next stand up. In the case of the video below, your hair may not stand up but this driver actually did (after he regained consciousness) from a terrifying crash at a recent Formula Off-Road event.
If you are unfamiliar with Formula Off-Road don’t worry. What you are about to see is a paddle tire equipped buggy attempt to navigate a course that challenges the driver ability, the horsepower available from the buggy, and the whole thing takes place on a massive slope of what appears to be dirt of pea gravel. There are multiple angles of this one and the sickening thud that the rig makes when it plummets off the cliff and lands is just something you have to experience for yourself.
According to the video, the driver was out for a few minutes before waking and walking away from the scene. Undoubtedly his bell was rung pretty hard and when you see it you’ll understand why. When the rear end of the rig shoots across the screen like a match stick you know that you have been in a read deal wreck.
We’re not sure if the guy got knocked out before driving off the cliff or if he had a brake failure or something but either way, this is nuts.
I love the fact that the driver had a flux capacitor installed on the car to speed up, slow down or even reverse time…..
CHMG, I don’t think you have a big enough sack to even try what he did!!!
