Cool Car For A Good Cause: Hot Rod Chassis and Cycle Reveals The Dagger Fairlane

Cool Car For A Good Cause: Hot Rod Chassis and Cycle Reveals The Dagger Fairlane

Many of you are familiar with our pals at Hot Rod Chassis and Cycle, the Illinois based shop that cranks out some of the coolest cars of all shapes and sizes in the country. From their Craftsman Comet to the awesome LeMans Corvette, and the Violent Valiant, we have followed their work for years. Along with being great and hard working craftsmen, Kevin, Chad, and their crew are also great guys who are proud to support causes that help people who need it.

Their latest project is a truly bad ass 1963 Ford Fairlane 500 that the are calling Dagger. This is one of their hardcore and detailed builds that we’ll be following along with but there’s kind of a twist. Last year the guys built a car and auctioned it off to support the Special Operations Warrior Foundation this year they are still working with SOWF but instead of auctioning the the car off at the end they are raising money for the foundation up front.

We need to be very clear here that any donations are not going to build a car. The money you are donating is going right to the Special Operations Warrior Fund.

When completed the car will travel the country to continue to raise money for the fund and raise awareness of the issues facing veterans and their families. Last year’s car put $100,000 into the fun and this year the boys are looking to basically double that.

We’ll be following the build right here on BangShift so stay tuned!

Can’t wait to see this build. They make amazing cars. But for the record it was the Craftsman Comet, not a Falcon.
