Just about every parent I know has mentioned how well their kids sleep in the car, and more than a couple have admitted to taking an unruly, party-ready little one on a late-night drive in the hopes that they knock out so that maybe mom and dad can catch a few moments of shut-eye. On the surface, it sounds like a win-win for a BangShifter: put the kid in the car, go cruise for a bit, then put the unconscious young one in the crib before you face-plant into a coma. But chances are, if you are a new parent, that you were already sleep-deprived before you made the call to grab the keys and hit the town with Junior in tow, and just that sentence alone should point out how that’s not the best idea ever.
Ford has apparently been working on an answer to that problem, and the solution is in the form of a baby sleeper called the MAX Motor Dreams. What does this crib do? If you’re a new parent, it performs magic. But if you don’t buy the magic bit, hit play below, pay attention to the subtitles, and see for yourself. Right now the MAX Motor Dreams is a one-off unit that is being evaluated, but if it passes trials and there is a demand, Ford might consider putting the sleeper into production.
What if you spent the day on an AutoX course…? 🙂
What if you commute to New York City? The crib will just sit still, blasting a horn, yelling “C’MON!!! WHAT ARE YOU, STUPID!!!” And putting up led middle fingers.
I want the MAD MAX Motor dreams. Use your imagination.
Does Ford have one of a 1967 Shelby GT500 with 427 Side Oiler, or a 1964 Thunderbolt?
