Big Winner! Steve Matusek Breaks Through For First Career National Event Victory In Pro Mod

Everyone loves to see their friends succeed and that’s why we were smiling doubly wide two weekends ago at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas watching our pal Steve Matusek capture a win in the J&A Service Pro Mod class. Matusek won the Wally driving the Aermotive sponsored Camaro that’s one half of the Aeromotive/Agave Underground team. Both cars are tuned by Jimmy Rector and the second machine is driven by Danny Rowe. The pro mod class has been insane over the last few years with basically double the number of entries than can qualify at every race. The show is beyond words.

Steve is the founder and president of Aeromotive and that’s where he spends all of his non-race car driving time. The company has been killing it on the fuel delivery side of hot rodding for more than 20 years now and they have fuel pump solutions for everything from cars that make 300hp to the pro mods that make 3,000 and up. They race what they sell and they use that experience to make the stuff even better. FACT.
