Cool Video: Brett Voelkel of Air Ride and Lingenfelter Performance Engineering Hook Up To Hot Rod A CTS-V

Here’s a video that falls into the “how to make a good thing better” department. When our pal and OG BangShifter Brett Voelkel scooped up a used Cadillac CTS-V we knew that it would not be long before that car was tweak on, messed with, and otherwise hot rodded. Brett did not let us down, teaming up with another BangShift pal, Mike Copeland and the crew at Lingenfelter Performance to make more power in the already stout Caddy.

In typical fashion, Brett bought his car and had it on the race track within a week. As he says in the video, the high performance sedan is amongst the best performing cars in the world and withouth any modification stands up to nearly all comers, even those many times more expensive. That’s all well and good, but he’s a hot rodder so if a lot of horsepower is good, a bunch more is better.

The guys and Lingenfelter commandeered the CTS-V at the Holley LS-X fest and as you’ll see increased the horsepower, at the wheels by 20% .

Watch the video to see a truly pissed off Caddy shred tires and proudly carry the Lingenfelter banner!
