Well as the seasons turn here in North America, we’re getting ready to kiss racing goodbye for a couple of months but down in South America? Those boys and girls are just getting ramped up for action as world of drag racing in the Southern Hemisphere is chomping at the bit to get ready. YouTube and the internet in general have done so much to help trumpet and really amplify the global nature of drag racing. No longer are we stuck inside our own bubble. Nope, we can look in on the world and see cool stuff everywhere. Take this amazing Brazilian Dodge Charger for example.
Now you’ll notice that the car has styling elements of our American spec Dodge Charger but they seem to be basically scaled into an A-body sized car. The thing is bad ass looking and the factory style striping tells us that even though this was a Brazilian model, the American muscle car influence is totally front and center.
While we do not have all the specifics on the car we can tell you that the machine has a twin turbocharged LA series engine in it. The car runs a Lenco manual transmission, and if that ain’t enough, it carries a lot of its factory interior stuff like the dash while being a stripped down, bad ass race car. Oh, and the thing hustles right along as well, running early 130mph in the eighth and down in the middle 5-second range. So cool, different, and just plain fantastic. We’re in love!
the front fenders look like dart as do the tail lights
