(Photos by Charles Wickam) – You know a show has juice when the manufacturers start showing up to display their wares and make sure that everyone knows they are in the marketplace. This is the case with the Lonestar Throwdown and you’ll see photo proof of that in just moment below. Companies like RideTech and others were on hand to show off their suspension and chassis components that are tailor made to the owners of both classic and modern trucks. Whether you are looking for bags for your modern ride or a full killer pro touring chassis for your classic truck, it was all on display.
As has been the case for the others galleries at this show, there will be some car photos sprinkled in among the trucks. We’re not going to lie, there’s a percentage of this stuff that is clearly outside our own personal taste but that doesn’t mean we do not respect the owners and their own personal vision and taste. If everyone just did what we wanted, the world would be boring.
