Every now and then Jay Leno puts out a vlog on what’s going on inside of his garage, and if nothing else, it is never just boring stuff. Leno might have the money to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, but what he does is pretty much exactly what we’d be doing if we were in his position: finding, fixing up and enjoying all sorts of cars from just about every possible point in time along the scale of the automobile. Old, new and everything in between, there is always room at the shop for another one.
In this update, the man with the iconic chin outline takes us through several of the known shop cars, including one of two Kleibers left in the world, a 1939 MG that is in the middle of a deep restoration, a Pontiac Firebird that’s now become another deep restoration, as well as the first start of “Rabbit 1”. There’s the Detroit Electric that is now running via the system from a Nissan Leaf and a 1925 Cadillac that is one of the newer machines to arrive. Not everyone can just waltz into the shop, but these videos are the next best thing and are a great insight into the world of Leno’s automotive hobbies at the moment!
What a life you have jay. So cool.
The Firebird part starts @ 10 minutes in. You’re welcome!
