Few areas of automotive development have advanced like that of induction over the last 50 years. While some of the earlier attempts at increasing horsepower through more efficient and higher volumes of air flow may look crude, they have fostered the development of the engines that we have today. In this case one of the most legendary optional factory induction systems has come up for sale. Sans carbs but with a certified authentic Chevrolet cross ram, this is the type of thing Chevy guys kind of dream about finding and owning for the purposes of a conversation piece or to complete the look of their Z/28 Camaro.
It would have to be a heck of a conversation as this intake manifold, which comes with some throttle pedal linkage and a non-OE air cleaner. This thing carries a price of $13,500. Not cheap but perhaps worth it for someone building the ultimate restored 1969 Z/28. Also, maybe someone who wants to go vintage racing with a truly period correct engine? Yes, there are far more efficient and better ways to get the air and fuel into a small block Chevy these days but none are cooler than vintage factory racing parts. If this stuff was ordered, it was delivered in the car, but specifically in the trunk. It was the job of the buyer to install all the go-fast junk once they got the thing home.
Because there are knock-offs and frauds out there, this intake has literally been certified by an authority on the subject and comes with a complete report of its authenticity. We’re not sure how many of these cross rams were ever made or sold but the numbers are small and people always seem to snatch them up when they hit the market.

If you had both tops and all three of the matching Holly carbs and the correct linkage and fuel lines and both breathers then it might be worth while but what you have there, not a chance
