It seems like every year there are more and more Thanksgiving and New Years weekend races happening all over the country. For 2019, the Texas Turkey Hunt $10k Race is going on today and someone is going to pad their Christmas shopping fund with some real money. This is the kind of win anyone would want this time of year. Of course racing in this event does mean that there are some Black Friday sales you probably missed, but we’re thinking that won’t matter much if you win the $10k. Racing is scheduled to start Saturday morning at 9 am local time and we’re sure the racers are going to be thrilled to get down the track, especially since it is raining in much of the rest of Texas at the moment.
Held at the famed Houston Raceway Park in Baytown Texas, this is a race track that always delivers a great place to race. We’ve raced there or attended races there for years and find it to be one of our favorite things about the Houston area.
