Cleetus and crew are making progress on bringing the Freedom Factory track to life. Considering that it’s only been a couple of months since they made the announcement and started work, it looks like they are on track to hit their target of a November public opening complete with all of the wild-ass entertainment that comes with a Cleetus and Cars experience. Plus, he’s bringing in international assistance for this big party. We’re watching as work progresses, but apparently they took a break to entertain a couple of guests recently, neither of which need any real introduction. Vaughn Gittin, Jr. and Chelsea DeNofa drift Mustangs. They are pros, they do their jobs well. Cleetus is now a track owner, has drifted with them in the Neighbor Crown Vic, and is usually talked into having a bit of fun regardless of what’s going on. So surely, what seems like a bit of a promo shoot couldn’t devolve into some straight-up tire shredding behavior, right?
After years of straight-line speed in Corvettes, it seems that all we see the tall blonde one do anymore is drift Fords. Maybe for his next trick we can get him jumping Dodges. Surely, we can find enough Intrepids that can be weight-balanced for proper yee-haw, Dixie Horn-levels of flight, right? It’s a suggestion…meanwhile, back to work, guys! Time flies when you’re scrubbing down the track!
Vaughn Gittin, Jr. and …..who? I think some introducing would be in order.
I really never cared for drifting cause of the wheeze banger engine but hearing these Mustang glide across the banks at the FF, it put a smile on my face!
