The 1941-1947 Chevrolet and “GMC” trucks were often referred to as the Art Deco trucks, and I doubt anyone who helped coin the phrase ever thought one would end up looking like this. I love it, mostly because it is the perfect example of how you can wrap a long travel tube chassis with just about anything and make it cool. I think there are plenty of hot rod Art Deco pickups out there, and some of them even have clean patina on them, but I’ve personally never seen one that had this kind of attitude. With all the required long travel suspension, tube work, and power that you expect in a pre-runner made from a late model Ford or Chevrolet pickup, this thing is legit.
