I’ve stripped the paint off of a car with aircraft paint stripper and I’ve done it with abrasives. Both work, but there are definitely some advantages to both. While both remove paint, they are vastly different in the way they remove it, what is left behind, and the mess that they make. And boy do they both make a mess if you are stripping the paint off an entire car. But which one is best, and do the new aircraft chemical strippers still work even though they have changed the formula so they aren’t so toxic and nasty?
