Making A Curvy Bomber Style Seat With Ron Covell: Part 3, Making The Curvy Middle

Here is Part 3 of Ron Covell’s curvy bomber seat build. He’s already covered the fabrication of the simple buck, and then made the curved sides fit it, and now it is time for the center. With this we’ll have all the major components for the shape of this cool seat. This is some really good tech right here, so pay attention and stay tuned for the rest of the series as this could be a great project to try at home.

We’ve featured a how-to video on building a bomber seat before, where metal master Ron Covell showed us how to make one pretty simply at home. But in this video, you are going to start seeing the process for a more curvy and styled version of the bomber seat. Yes it is more complicated, and yes it requires a few more tools, but it certainly will teach us some great skills we can use on other projects as well. And the tools we need can be had from Eastwood, Harbor Freight, and more. They don’t have to be expensive in order for you to get to the finished product.
