(Words and photos by Doug Gregory) – This collection and the next will probably be the most-liked by our beloved editor. Brian has a thing for ‘working’ vehicles whether it be farm tractors, over-the-road trucks, or even a family long roof. Cynthiana is the county seat of Harrison County and has a significant agricultural presence. Tractors and trucks of all kinds are regular sights on virtually any roadway 365 days a year. Many of these get retired or repurposed to a much easier existence.
I like pretty much everything in this gallery, but there’s one I like the most. This brown and black fat-fender Chevy has been in various levels of completion over the past few years and now it appears to be finished. This thing is so neat with all its period go-fast parts, the finish, and how all of it ties together. I’d be quite pleased to take that out for a Sunday drive.
Hope you like this group of not-so hardworking rides and come back for another.
