(Words and Photos by Jim Hrody) The Starved Rock Nationals are a weekend-long show that takes place at a local skydive air-park in the far reaches of Chicagoland. And while only in its first few years, the event has grown significantly, and you’ll find anything and everything on site, including tuners, old school muscle, big rigs, exotics, military vehicles, and late model custom trucks. Not only will you find all these fun rides to check out, but also a portable dyno, food vendors and aftermarket parts suppliers. Judging by what was there, it’s sure to have a promising future.
