(Photos by Brad Klaassen) – Well we’ve finally run to the end of Brad Klaassen’s great photos from the 2013 spring Throwdown in T-Town. The race was a smashing success with the track having full grandstands from the beginning on Friday all the way through the end of the deal late on Saturday night. There were vintage inline six dragsters, gassers, Pro Mods, nitro motorcycles, a wheelstander, and plenty of small tire and sportsman action. There is a fall version of this race that you can expect us to be live from as well!
This gallery is a great cross section of what went on during the marathon eliminations session on Saturday. The beauty of Tulsa is that a curfew doesn’t exist. They’d have run until the sun came up to get the event in. Thankfully they didn’t have to, but the moon was certainly starting to think about setting! Tulsa rules. Expect us to be back there at least once more this season!
