(Photos by Bob Chiluk) – We’re not sure how they do it but we do know THAT they seem to do it every year. The organizers of the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals have really established their show as one of the coolest in the country for debuting things like historic race car restorations, barn finds of significance, and old stuff that is just awesome. Maybe it is weird and maybe it isn’t but people have a near insatiable appetite for anything involving muscle cars and classic Detroit based iron. The more rare and specialized it is, the better.
Bob Chiluk did a great job with his picture taking machine as he captured everything that as cool and either lovingly restored, factory original, dragged out of a barn, or just dragged hard, at the show. If we didn’t have the conflict with the Street Car Super Nationals we likely would have been at this event checking it out. Other friends of ours said that as car show goers, they had a blast and were blown away by the volume of rare or unique cars that they either had only seen words about and never in person or that they had always dreamed about owning.
