(Photos by Mike Brooks – Gasoline Images) – We’re back with another load of photos from the 2016 I-X Piston Powered Auto-Rama that was held outside of Cleveland, Ohio last weekend. Mike Brooks and Jose Ferrer were on the grounds and they were blasting away. We were looking forward to getting this coverage from Mike because we remember the job he did last year and how gnarly the show was. Over two million square feet of stuff is on display and when we say “stuff” we mean STUFF. Everything from airplanes to equipment, to big rigs, to hot rods, race cars, motorcycles, and more. In this collection of images alone you are going to see some truly awesome stuff.
The only bummer about this event is that we feel like they totally tree’d us and we should be holding some sort of BangShift Nats show that falls under these guidelines. Because we run such diverse content on the site we’d love to have a show just like this one where you simply open the gates to literally anything with a piston engine in it. The results in Cleveland were spectacular. We’d probably fail hard on that project but the thought it certainly there and the model has been proven out by these guys. What a show!

The building was built as a bomber plant during WW II, there are HUGE overhead doors on the one side. Just open them up & put about anything you want inside.
