One of the most interesting and fun parts of any trip to the Grand National Roadster Show is the Suede Palace. This building is home to the most traditional hot rods and custom cars at the show. Some of the cars housed in the building are actual, historic hot rods but the majority are cars that have been built to capture the looks and styling of eras gone by.
The people involved in putting the ‘Palace together take great pride in their job and as you will see, they have managed to maintain the integrity of the display for years. This is the 11th time the Suede Palace has been part of the show to the best of our knowledge.
So there you have it. The words are just in the way at this point, check out these photos!

Cool pics…but I’m concerned with the lack of young people in the pics. Unless I missed someone, I saw potentially one person under 35 years old, and one young lady carrying a toddler on her hip.
@ChicoKid, I noticed the same thing. I think it is a generational thing. If you went to an import show of some kind it would be packed with younger people. We were each raised in a different auto environment/world. The world today appreciates a different car than we might. I’m okay with it as long as the driving forces are being creative, an individual, and customizing.
