We thought it made sense to make the next “50 photos” gallery a celebration of the Tri-Shield brand because we loves us some Buick action. Buick is the oldest active American car brand and has survived the darkest days in GM history…multiple times.
Buick has produced some of the most iconic cars of all time. From the brass era beauties that chuffed along America’s roads just after the turn of the century to the magnificently styled Rivieras of the middle 1960s, to the Hemi hunting 455ci powered monsters of the early 1970s, and the turbocharged rocket ships of the 1980s, Buicks have been a constant in the realm of cool domestic cars.
