Cynthiana Rod Run Coverage: Classic Trucks, Classic Bikes, Killer Paint, And An Edsel Wagon

Cynthiana Rod Run Coverage: Classic Trucks, Classic Bikes, Killer Paint, And An Edsel Wagon

(Words and photos by Doug Gregory) – Interesting cars, interesting people, and interesting places.  That’s one of the reasons we go to these events is to hear stories, pick up some information on the locale, and see how other gearheads get it done.  I have a few examples.  The V8-swapped, Pro-street, extended-cab S10 is pretty cool and sounds awesome…..it’s owned by the Mayor of a nearby city and he also does garden tractor pulling.

Look a little further and you will see an Edsel wagon.  Not something you happen upon often just cruising your local spots.  Go even further down the page you and will see a very serious, big-block powered blue Nova with a cage and stickies sitting next to…..of all things…..a Tesla in small-town Kentucky.  If we’d not gone and stayed we wouldn’t have seen or heard anything new from first-hand experience.  Sure, someone might have posted some photos and told us some things through texting, but it isn’t the same as being there.  If you haven’t hit up a local (or not so local) cruise in a while you are missing out.

Enjoy.
