(Photos by Joe Grippo) – If there is one thing that most BangShifters out there absolutely love it is cruising the aisles at a swap meet to find treasures, oogle cool parts, and bench race their day away envisioning how things could be as opposed to how they are sitting on some guy’s crusty old rug in the dirt. This collection of photos from Joe Grippo at the 2015 AAA Hershey meet will help you do that all and you’ll never have to leave your chair. There are some cool cars in here like the amazing Cunningham coupe and other but the majority of the photos feature killer stuff for sale at the swap meet including a couple of old motorcycles that we’d give an arm for and we’re not even into motorcycles.
Like we said yesterday, the AACA gathering is not a hot rod show as much as it is about seeing cool stuff that is existing in it is original and unaltered state. The reality is that seeing bone stock stuff from the 1960s is getting more and more interesting on some level because these cars are not 50 years old and so many of them have been hot rodded, clean factory examples of stuff seem to be more the exception than the norm these days.
We’re not trading in our big blocks, blowers, nitrous, or turbos, but it is cool to see something other than the norm, right?
