(Photos by Charles Wickam) – It was a busy weekend for BangShift’s Charles Wickam as he traveled to the wilds of Austin, Texas and covered two events in two days. We’re going to share the first event with you today in the form of this gallery from the 2014 Austin AutoRama. Apparently the show had kind of ceased to be for a few years until Haldex Productions stepped in and revived the formerly long running event. From the looks of the photos Charles shot, this thing came back with a bang. There were an endless supply of very high quality show cars, vintage trucks, bikes, race cars, and other vehicles filling the Austin Convention Center. Some of the featured machines may look familiar to you as notable custom built rods.
We love galleries like this because in one photo you’ll see a hand built car that probably has a million into it and then you’ll see a 1980s lifted truck with all kinds of crazy paint and stuff. Under normal circumstances, those two sides of the car hobby would never meet but indoor shows make for strange and fun bedfellows. This is a great gallery and you’ll enjoy the photos in here.
