Syracuse Nationals 2015 Coverage: More Cars, Trucks, and History From New York

(Photos by Brian Ackley) – So I told you the sad tale of how I managed to misplace Brian Ackley’s awesome images from the 2015 Syracuse Nationals in New York earlier this summer already. The good news is that his pal and fellow shooter Mike Brooks hit me upside the head with a block of wood and jarred my memory so here we are. Not to take anything away from our fair weathered west coast friends (and this may be based in my clear east coast bias) but with events like Syracuse and others, we don’t mess around out here. Why? We appreciate the limited time we have each year to mess with our cars so when we get the chance to do something cool we’ll travel hundreds of miles in all directions to participate.

You will see license plates at this show from all over the eastern seaboard and Canada as hot rodder know that the Syracuse Nationals has been a gearhead tradition in these parts for decades. Get any group of guys around that have been at this car stuff for any period of time and chances are that you’ll hear of them driving some stupidly geared street machine hundreds of miles and by hundreds of gas stations to just to say that they did it.

Hot rods, trucks, muscle cars, classics, and fun. That’s what this deal is all about. See it here –
