Hot Rods, Customs, Trucks, And More From The Ribs And Rods Show In Texas

We’re not going to let any car show coverage go to waste after waiting so long for events to get started, so we’re bringing you several photo galleries from the recent Ribs and Rods show in Temple Texas. Our pal Charles Wickam hit us up and told us to come check it out, so I grabbed dad and drug him down to the beautiful park in Tempe for this really cool show. This is one that we won’t miss in the future, because this is one of those locations that seem to just be made for car shows. Trees, grass, a river, easy access off of Interstate 35, and tons of food and attractions nearby. Plus, it’s less than three hours from most of the major metropolitan areas in Texas. This place really is centrally located.

This event is normally a car show and BBQ competition, but because of COVID restrictions the BBQ portion of the show was cancelled. The lot that normally houses all the BBQ competitors is big and we can’t wait to get back there next year to see them all competing and to try some grub. As far as car shows go, this is one of the nicest locations that we’ve been to since moving here to Texas and are super glad that Wickam told us to come. We’ve got lots of photos to share, but if you miss any of them, then click the link below to see them all!
